Terres d'Alba (marcha cristiana)

Terres d'Alba (marcha cristiana)

Finalist Work at the VIII Callosa d’En Sarriá National Music Composition Contest 2002. It was premiered by the ‘Banda de Música La Primitiva of the ‘Asociación de Amigos de la Música de Callosa d’En Sarriá’, on 6 October 2002.

As a novel element within this instrumentation, the introduction of the Sweet Flute, in a tonality stands out above all in that this instrument has no technical difficulty and can be interpreted by any wind-wood instrument. The music for the Feasts of “Moros y Cristianos” has also developed other genres such as procession marches,  hymns of feasts, hymns to the patron saint , ballets, incidental music, etc.
