Manuel Godoy, renowned Valencian conductor, visits the Banda Municipal de Barcelona with four original works for the band: two more classic, of the great European repertoire and two of composers of his generation. Sequences for band

Composition for symphonic band awarded in 2013 with the First Prize of the International Composition Competition for Corciano band, Italy.

Some of the most important composers in the world, such as James Curnow, Andre Waignein, Carlo Pirola, Johan de Meij, Franco Cesarini, Oliver Waespi, and Spaniards Francisco Zacarés, Ferrer Ferran and Luis Serrano Alarcón. Long trajectory of this contest. “Sequences for band” was premiered in May 2014 by the Asociación Musical Sta. Cecília d’Ador (Valencia), under the direction of Ramon García i Soler, within the Provincial Contest of Music Bands of the Diputación de Valencia this same year .

Carlos Pellicer won a second prize in the 2009 edition with his work “Jad-a-daj” and honorable mention that same year with “Dis-tensions-diS”.
