The Valencia Brass Band by Inel is a lineup composed of 30 professional musicians, of metal and percussion, of the Comunitat Valenciana under the baton of the conductor Enrique Alborch. The Valencia Brass Band was born from the restlessness of a group of professional musicians to be able to work in a formation of high artistic level to spread the own repertoire of Brass Band that so much acceptance have in the rest of Europe and the USA.

The Valencia Brass Band will be in charge of the premiere of the Brass Band version of Menu, original work for wind band. Carlos Pellicer dedicates this adaptation to the Valencian formation and to its conductor and friend Enrique Alborch Tarrasó.

Level of the work: 3. It is a work divided into three movements which are related to the development and “tasting” of a good gastronomic menu. The titles of these movements (L’Apéritif, La spécialité du Chef and “American pie”, le grand finale) are related to the content, character and rhythm of each dish prepared for this original menu: a short but intense starter, a main dish with different textures but very consistent, and a good dessert with a lot of flavor and a lot of rhythm.
