Description

Iuventûs is an overture for band written in 2002 and is dedicated to the Youth Band of the ‘La Tropical de Benigánim Musical Society’ (Valencia-Spain). It is a very varied timbre and rhythmic piece with the intention of reflecting the freshness, intensity and uncontrolled happiness of that time that we have all lived: youth. The work is full of small individual interventions for a wide variety of instruments, ranging from the most serious to the most acute.

Iuventûs es una obertura para banda escrita en 2002 y está dedicada a la Banda de Jóvenes de la ‘Sociedad Musical La Tropical de Benigánim’ (Valencia-España). Se trata de una pieza muy variada tímbrica y rítimicamente con la intención de reflejar la frescura, la intensidad y la felicidad descontrolada de esa época que todos hemos vivido: la juventud. El trabajo está repleto de pequeñas intervenciones individuales para una gran variedad de instrumentos, que van desde los más graves hasta los más agudos.
